I am not a fan of books retelling the story in the Georgian times but I am always interested in how an author translates the story to another time period. In Mr Darcy’s Kiss, Krista Lakes brings Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy to modern day New York City. I thought the author did a great s: The title says it all. It is this kiss that greatly offends and yet, hooks Elizabeth. There are a few typos in the story but not enough to disrupt its rhythm. Mr. Darcy does suffer quite a bit in the beginning.
